I'm an economics professor at the University of Massachusetts-Boston. I earned a PhD in 1986 from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and have been doing research (mixed with some teaching) for over 20 years. Most of my publications are written in academese, but I tried to make Economics for Humans (Univ. of Chicago Press, 2006) actually readable.
